Shipping Activity at Port Qasim
05/07/2016 (APP) - Four ships C.V MSC Pamela, M.T Bunga Akasia, M.V Tai Progress and M.T Olympic Spirit-II carrying containers, palm oil, and soyabean seeds and furnace oil were arranged berthing at Qasim International Container Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal Grain Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Sunday.
In the meantime two more ships C.V Al-Hilal and C.V X-Press Kailash with containers also got anchorage of Port Qasim.
Berth occupancy was managed at sixty percent at the port on Sunday where a total of nine berths were engaged by ships namely C.V MSC Pamela, C.V Hermes, C.V MSC Antalya, M.V Fernado, M.V Safe Sea Neha, M.V Chan Hang Han Hai, M.V Thai Progress, M.T Bunga Akasia and M.T Olympic Spirit-II Okyroe to load/offload containers, silicon slag, general cargo steel coil soya bean seeds, palm oil and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.
Container vessel Hermes sailed out to sea on Monday morning while another ships C.V MSC Antalya is expected to sail on same day afternoon.
Two ships C.V X-Press Kaliash, C.V Al-Hilal and C.V MSC Tornato carrying containers are expected to take berths at Container Terminal on Monday.
