09/06/2016 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.

FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures declined further on Wednesday, hitting a near two-week low, as the ringgit remained at its strongest level for nearly three weeks.

* Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures jumped 3.4 percent to their highest in nearly two years on Wednesday as forecasts for hot temperatures to hit key growing U.S. regions stoked fears of damage to nascent crops, traders said.

* Crude futures rose on Wednesday, hitting 2016 highs above $50 a barrel and settling up for a third straight day on worries about sabotage of oil facilities in Nigeria, although a build in U.S. gasoline stocks amid peak summer demand could pressure prices.

MARKET NEWS

* The U.S. dollar fell for a fourth straight session on Wednesday on waning expectations of a near-term Federal Reserve interest rate hike, while an index of world equity markets advanced to a six-week high.
