06/06/2016 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.

FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures rebounded from losses made in early trade, rising to a three and a half week high on Friday evening as better performing rival oils lent support to palm prices, despite a stronger ringgit.

* U.S. soybean futures backed off two-year highs on Friday, with investment funds locking in profits from the oilseed's sharp rally this week.

* Oil prices tumbled more than 1 percent on Friday, extending losses after weekly industry data showed U.S. drillers added rigs for only the second time this year.

MARKET NEWS

* U.S. and European shares, the dollar, oil and bond yields all dived on Friday after data showed the slowest pace of U.S. job growth in more than five years, dashing expectations that the Federal Reserve could raise interest rates in June.
