VEGOILS-Market Factors To Watch April 12
12/04/2016 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures fell on Monday evening on the back of a stronger ringgit MYR= and official data showing that output rose in March.
* U.S. wheat futures fell 3 percent to a five-week low on Monday as weekend rains in the U.S. plains, and forecasts for more next weekend, eased worries about yield prospects, traders said.
* Brent crude prices touched a four-month high on Monday in a rally fueled by strong markets across commodities, ahead of a meeting of oil producers in Doha next Sunday aimed at freezing current output levels.
MARKET NEWS
* Asian stocks made a subdued start on Tuesday, with Japanese shares dipping on a bullish yen, while commodities such as crude oil stood tall thanks to a sagging dollar.
