30/03/2016 (Bernama) - Plantation conglomerate, Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd, has appointed Datuk Zakaria Arshad, 56, as its new Group President / Chief Executive Officer effective April 1.

He replaces Datuk Mohd Emir Mavani Abdullah whose tenure ends on the same date, said the company in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.

Zakaria's current position is Executive Vice President/Head of Palm Downstream Cluster at FGV.

He has a Bachelor of Social Science Economics (Hons) degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
