China Jan Soy Imports Fall 17.7 Pct on Year-Customs
15/02/2016 (Reuters) - China, the world's top buyer of soybeans, imported 5.66 million tonnes of the oilseed in January, down 17.7 percent on a year earlier, data from the General Administration of Customs showed on Monday.
China also imported 530,000 tonnes of edible vegetable oils in January, up 15.9 percent, the data showed. China imports mainly palm oil, soyoil and rapeseed oil.
