02/02/2016 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures dropped on Friday to the lowest level in a week on slowing exports and as the Malaysian ringgit gained strength.
* U.S. wheat futures closed lower on Monday amid plentiful global inventories and poor export demand for U.S. supplies, traders said.
* U.S. crude fell for a second session in early Asian trade on Tuesday as worries about the economic health of top energy consumer China and rising oil supply weighed on markets.
MARKET NEWS
* Global markets got February off to a cautious start on Monday following a rocky January, with stocks and oil falling in the wake of weak manufacturing reports around the world.
