VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch Dec 9
09/12/2015 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil slid almost 2 percent on Tuesday in its steepest decline in more than three weeks as investors locked in gains after the commodity touched a two-month high the session before.
* U.S. soybeans extended losses on Tuesday to touch a one-week low on long liquidation and technical selling ahead of a monthly government supply and demand report, more than offsetting strong import demand from China.
* Oil futures ended lower with Brent down over 1 percent on Tuesday after plumbing near seven-year lows on fears global oil producers will pump even more crude in battle for share in a saturated market.
MARKET NEWS
* Stock markets worldwide slipped on Tuesday, weighed down by weak China trade figures, while oil came off its worst levels of the day after falling within reach of a seven-year nadir.
