VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch Oct 29
29/10/2015 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil rose on Wednesday on the back of a weaker ringgit, but continued to trade in a range for a fourth consecutive session.
* U.S. soybean futures dropped to their lowest levels in nearly three weeks on Wednesday on expectations for rains to benefit plantings in Brazil, the world's top exporter.
* U.S. crude oil prices rose more than 6 percent on Wednesday as the government reported an inventory build that reversed bearish market expectations, putting the market on a volatile course after three straight days of losses.
MARKET NEWS
* U.S. bond yields rose and stocks sold off after a U.S. Federal Reserve statement following its two-day policy meeting made it clear that the world's largest central bank still sees a December rate increase as a possibility.
