VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch Oct 16
16/10/2015 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures fell on Thursday, partly reversing steep gains in the previous session, as the market tracked the volatile ringgit.
* U.S. corn futures fell to the lowest in more than three weeks and soybeans also eased, pressured by the ongoing Midwest harvest, while wheat fell 1 percent in subdued trading on Thursday.
* Oil prices fell on Thursday after the U.S. government reported a larger-than-expected crude stockpile build, leaving prices lower for a fourth straight day.
MARKET NEWS
* U.S. stocks rebounded from two days of losses to close higher on Thursday, helped by financial sector earnings, while stronger-than-expected economic data boosted the dollar and bond yields.
