JAKARTA, March 10 Asia Pulse - The price of crude palm oil (CPO) inJakarta fell in an auction on reports of export plan by Malaysia.

The price was recorded at Rp4,675 (US$0.556) per kg in the auction heldyesterday by the Joint Marketing Office (KPB) of state-owned plantationcompany PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN), down from Rp4,760 a week earlier.A KPB official Syariful Lubis said the decline followed reports thatMalaysia would export 20,000 tons of CPO and weaker demand in the worldmarket.

Lubis said sales in the auction with 9 participants totaled 3,000 tons ofCPO of 3,500 tons offered.
