21/04/2004 JAKARTA (Bisnis): Russia asks Indonesia to provide sixadditional commodities for the third payment of the RI-Russiacounter-trade. Three of the commodities are natural rubber, bleached pulpand methanol.

One Bisnis source in the State Logistics Agency (Bulog) revealed besidesasking for CPO and the derivative products, Russia also asked for six morecommodities for the third payment of the counter-trade.

He informed that the commodities were tin ingot, phthalic anhydride,stearic acid, methanol, natural rubber and bleached pulp.

"Natural rubber, pulp, and methanol are the three most asked commodities,"he said.

He revealed that Russia asked for 5,000 tons of methanol per month, 4,000tons of pulp per month and 5,000 tons of rubber every month.

The source added that Indonesia, represented by Bulog, had also offeredten additional commodities to Russia.

The ten commodities offered were rubber, cocoa kernel, cocoa powderalkalised, cocoa powder natural, bleached pulp, methanol, tin ingot,phtalic anhydride, stearic acid (palm oil derivatives) and black tea. (10)Indonesian Police Force to Destroy 150 Containers of Illegal Sugar
