VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch May 13
13/05/2015 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures rose to five-week high on Tuesday on a weakening ringgit and robust demand in early May.
* Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures fell nearly 2 percent on Tuesday after the U.S. Department of Agriculture projected domestic stocks would rise to 500 million bushels by the end of the 2015/16 marketing year, a nine-year high if realized.
* Oil rose 3 percent on Tuesday, the most in three weeks, as a weak dollar lifted commodities denominated in the currency and OPEC raised slightly its forecast for world oil demand growth.
MARKET NEWS
* German bond yields climbed on Tuesday on optimism that inflation may have bottomed in the euro zone, lifting demand for the euro, while volatility in global bond markets weighed on stock indexes.
