FGV Wins 'Palm Oil Plantation Company Of The Year' Award For Third Consecutive Year
17/04/2015 (Bernama) - Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) has been awarded the 2015 Frost and Sullivan's Excellence Awards for 'Palm Oil Plantation Company of the Year' for the third consecutive year.
The award acknowledges FGV's competitiveness in the market through its capabilities and best practices in its business operations and the company's exceptional growth throughout 2014.
In a statement today, group president/chief executive officer, Datuk Mohd Emir Mavani Abdullah, said the award was a reflection of the strong team effort by all FGV Group employees.
"The recognition is testament of FGV's continuous efforts to improve the practices and deliverables towards bringing FGV to be one of the top ten global agri-business player by 2020," he said.
Frost & Sullivan Malaysia's country head, Hazmi Yusof, said FGV has managed to remain competitive in the market through its capability of modifying its processes to cut cost and achieve high levels of quality in their output.
FGV was identified for the award based on in-depth interviews, analysis and extensive secondary research conducted by Frost & Sullivan.
The evaluation included revenues, market share, capabilities, overall contribution to the industry and identifiable best practices.
The Malaysia Excellence Award now in its eleventh year, aims to recognise Malaysian companies and individuals that have pushed the boundaries of excellence - rising above the competition and demonstrating outstanding performance in Malaysia.
