Vegoils: Market Factors to Watch Monday April 13
13/04/2015 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets on Monday April 13.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures ended higher on Friday, pulling up from a near 4-1/2-month low touched in late trade as robust export data boosted hopes that demand was improving, although weekly prices still posted their biggest loss in three weeks.
* U.S. wheat futures rose 1.4 percent on Friday on a round of short-covering by speculators after price declines in three of the previous four sessions, traders said.
* Oil prices rose on Friday, posting a weekly gain on lift from lowered expectations that an agreement on Iran's nuclear program will result in a rapid return of more Iranian barrels to the market.
MARKET NEWS
* World equity markets tested record highs on Friday on hopes of more stimulus from top central banks, while the dollar strengthened on favorable government debt yields compared to those of most other developed countries.
