FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures ended higher on Friday, reversing most of the week's steep losses as cautious investors held back from another sell-off, and instead pinned hopes on output and stockpiles easing in December.

* Soybeans climbed to a one-week high on Friday with a boost from strong export demand and meal prices, ahead of a key U.S. government crop report next week.

* U.S. crude oil closed at its lowest since July 2009 on Friday as Brent averaged below $70 a barrel in the week for the first time since 2010, as strong U.S. employment data did little to lift the oil market's bearish mood.
