4,106 Projects Implemented By MOSTI As Of Oct This Year
15/10/2014 (Bernama) - The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) has completed 4,106 projects as of October this year.
The ministry, in a statement issued here today, said the projects included 1,172 with potential to be commercialised and 366 projects which had been commercialised.
The products included B-Smart Telematic Services, Motorised Cutter for Palm Oil Harvesting and Sophisticated, Organic Certifed, Preservative-Free Natural Plant Based Personal & Skin Care Product, it said.
In line with the allocation set for the ministry in the 2015 Budget, the ministry is targetting to commercialise 360 high-impact innovative products by 2020 and various activities have been implemented to achieve the target.
It said the ministry aimed to commercialise 60 products by end of this year as part of its contribution to achieve the government's objective of making Malaysia a high-income country.
The list of products that have been commercialised can be viewed by surfing the ministry's website at www.mosti.gov.my.
The products will also be displayed at the National Innovation Conference and Exhibition (NICE2014), to be held from Oct 31 to Nov 2 at the Putra World trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur.
