Uggah To Lead Commodity Trade Mission To China
10/09/2014 (Bernama) - The Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas will be leading a palm oil, rubber and timber promotion mission to the People's Republic of China from Sept 12 to 17.
The objective of this mission is to strengthen bilateral trade in palm oil, rubber and timber products and to discuss with private sector representatives possible areas in which to further strengthen business linkages between China and Malaysia, the minister said in a statement today.
The delegation comprises representatives from the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Malaysian Palm Oil Board, Malaysian Palm Oil Council, Malaysian Rubber Board, Malaysian Rubber Export Promotion Council, Malaysian Timber Industry Board, Malaysian Timber Council, Malaysian Pepper Board and the private sector.
