SAO PAULO (Dow Jones)--Brazilian soybean exports totaled 2.4 millionmetric tons in July, some 33% higher than the 1.8 million tons exported ayear earlier, according to preliminary figures issued by the Foreign TradeSecretariat on Monday.Exports slipped from the 3.7 million tons registered in June.Soymeal exports reached 1.2 million tons in July, 20% higher than the996,300 tons sent the year before. However, July figures slippeddrastically from the 2.2 million tons of meal shipped in June.July soyoil exports totaled 258,900 tons, up from 232,200 tons in July2003 but sharply down from the 388,800 tons exported in June.
