VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch July 4
04/07/2014 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures were little changed on Thursday, with prices stuck in a tight range as investors waited for more leads on output volumes and global demand for the tropical oil.
* U.S. soybean futures fell on Thursday, retreating from early gains as worries about tight old-crop supplies abated and forecasts called for favorable weather that should bolster yields, traders said.
* Crude oil futures prices on both sides of the Atlantic fell on Thursday as supply fears began to ease after Libya declared an end to an oil crisis that has slashed exports from the OPEC member.
MARKET NEWS
* The dollar rose and global equity markets advanced on Thursday, with stocks setting record highs on a surge in U.S. jobs growth that provided a clear sign the economic growth is faster than expected, perhaps as much as 4 percent in the second quarter.
