Plantations Top Losers, KLK Leads

31/03/2014 (The Star) - Plantations were the top losers on Bursa Malaysia in Monday’s late morning trade, dragging the FBM KLCI into the red.

At 10.38am, the FBM KLCI fell 3.14 points to 1,847.59. Turnover was 596.35 million shares valued at RM375.72mil. There were 290 gainers, 230 losers and 287 counters unchanged.

KL Kepong fell the most, down 62 sen to RM24.30 with 53,800 shares done. United Plantations lost 20 sen to RM24.70, Batu Kawan fell eight sen to RM19.64 and FGV six sen to RM4.64.

CB Industrial Products, which builds palm oil mills, fell 11 sen to RM4.41 with 529,500 shares done.
