14/12/2012 (Bernama) - KUB Malaysia Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, KUB Agrotech Sdn Bhd, is aiming for an additional RM130 million in annual revenue, upon completion of its new palm oil mill in Mukah, Sarawak.

"The mill is expected to be completed within a year and be fully commissioned by 2014," KUB Agrotech Chief Executive Officer, Dr Zainal Abidin Salleh, said today.

He was speaking to reporters at the signing of a conditional memorandum of understanding (MoU) agreement to partner Sutracom Sdn Bhd for the development and operation of the mill.

Sutracom is a Bumiputera company that has experience in civil construction works of more than 25 years.

The mill, strategically located in KUB Agro's oil palm plantation in Mukah, with a Fresh Fruit Brunch processing capacity of 45 metric tonnes per hour, is estimated to cost RM50 million and will be financed internally.
