11/12/2012 (FoodNavigator-USA.com) - Sensient Colors has developed a new range of natural colors that do not contain any palm oil-based products or emulsifiers.

The new powders, dispersions, and emulsions are free of all palm-derived components, not simply the active pigment, explains the firm.

“In extensive stability testing, the new palm-free natural colors proved to be very well-protected against color degradation, making them ideal for all food and beverage applications.

“From a coloring perspective, palm-free formulations can be used as an excellent alternative to other natural colors because they do not differ in shade or appearance.”
