03/09/2012 (Pakistan Daily Times) - One ship arrived at Port Qasim to discharge palm oil at LCT on 31st August 2012. Berth occupancy was maintained at 50 percent at the Port Qasim on Saturday where eight ships are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, palm oil containers, corn, wheat and furnace oil at Port Qasim last 24 hours. Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port Qasim where a cargo volume 61,647 tonnes comprising 47,994 tonnes import, 13,680 tonnes export, was handled at the Port Qasim last 24 hours. A ship sailed on Friday afternoon while another ship arrived at FOTCO on September 1, 2012.
