07/08/2012 (Business Recorder) - C.V Maersk Wyoming carrying Containers took berth at Qasim International Container Terminal on Sunday.

Meanwhile two more ships M.T Strilen and M.T Bum Chin with chemicals and Palm oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim on Monday morning.

Berth occupancy remained at the Port at 21.4 percnet on Sunday were three ships namely C.V Maersk Wyomin, M.V Fisher-D and M,V Hawk are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers and cement during last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of 14,573 tonnes exclusive imports of containerized cargo carried in 767 containers (TEUs) were handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

Container vessel Maersk Wyoming' is expected to sail on Monday afternoon.

Three ships M.T Bum Chin, M.T Strilen and M.T Asphalt Merchant carrying palm oil, chemicals and bitumen are expected to take berths at Liquid Terminal, Engro Terminal and Multipurpose Terminal respectively on Monday.

while six more ship C.V CMA CGM Ravel, C.V Nedlloyd Hudsun, C.V Deira, M,T Baltic, M.V Keiturn and M.T Glory carrying containers, furnace oil, project cargo and Phosphoric acid are due to arrive at Port Qasim on Tuesday.
