17/07/2012 (Pakistan Observer) - Karachi : Two ships arrived at Port on Saturday, carrying chemical at EVTL, palm oil at Let.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 21 % at the Port on Saturday where a total of 3 Ships namely M.T Dong.A.Iris, M.T Harsanadi, M.T Feng Hai are currently occupying berths to load/offload palm oil, chemical was handled at Port last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 14040 tonnes comprising 14040 tonnes Import export Nil was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was 35% at the Port Qasim on Friday where total number of four ships namely MV. Hammonia Pacificum, MV. Salta, Vermilion Energy and Argent Aster are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, furnace oil and edible oil respectively during lat 24 hours.—APP
