26/04/2012 (Bernama) - Felcra Bhd paid RM20.6 million in dividends to 4,170 settlers in Selangor for last year, thanks to better palm oil prices and harvest.

Its Central Region General Manager, Hazrinor Hisham Harun, said RM19.03 million in dividends was paid for 2010 but this year would be challenging for Felcra as the cost of inputs such as fertilisers and pesticides had risen.

He also said the minimum wage policy was also anticipated to be implemented soon and this could affect this year's earnings and dividend payout, he told reporters after a dividend presentation ceremony for settlers of Felcra Bhd Negeri Selangor.
