As a result, it is set to pull down palm oil prices further aiding India’s fight against inflation. The Malaysian currency plunged to 4.4810 against the greenback on Friday — a level last seen in January 2017. On Thursday, ringgit fell to 4.47 vs the US dollar — last seen during the Asian financial crisis in early 1998.
