CPO May Trade Higher: Nirmal Bang

Soy oil ended higher by 1.54%. Palm oil ended higher by 1.01%. RM seed Feb ended higher by 1.86%. Exports of Malaysian palm oil products for Jan. 1-10 fell 16.2 percent to 371,635 tonnes from 443,699 tonnes shipped during Dec. 1-10, cargo surveyor Intertek Testing Services said on Tuesday. China, the world's largest soy buyer, imported 5.42 million tonnes of soybeans in December, down 4.9 percent from 5.70 million tonnes in November, figures from the General Administration of Customs of China showed on Tuesday. Oilseeds and soy oil futures ended higher, buoyed by firm global markets, though rainfall in oilseeds growing areas limited the gains. In the Indore spot market, soy oil dropped 2.9 rupees to 721.15 per 10 kg, while soybean gained 16 rupees to 2,468 per 100 kg. At Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan, rapeseed rose 60 rupees to 3,551.25 per 100 kg.
Outlook for Soybean is seen up for the day. CPO is expected to trade higher.
