28/12/2011 (Biofuels Digest) - In Malaysia, Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, CEO of Emery Oleochemicals reports that their MES plant in China is nearing completion, and he is hoping for a Q1 start up.

The plant is a joint venture with Guangzhou Lonkey Industrial, and is expected to produce 40,000 tonnes a year.  MES is a palm oil and palm stearin replacement for petroleum sourced linear alkylbenzene sulfonates.
