27/11/2011 (Daily Times) - Two ships arrived at Port Qasim on Friday carrying container at QICT, cement at MW-04. Berth occupancy was maintained at 50 percent at the Port on Friday where a total of seven ships are currently occupying berths to load/offload rice, container, canola seed, sunflower seed, palm oil and furnace oil was handled at Port last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 47147 tonnes comprising 31732 tonnes import 15415 tonnes export, 803 (TUES) were handled at the Port during last 24 hours. Three ships sailed on Saturday morning while a ship at LCT, another at EVTL and third one at FAP arrive on November 26, 2011.
