26/07/2011 (Environment Expert) - Hofstetter has been awarded with an order to build a HOFGAS- Ready Palma 1500 CDM including measuring and monitoring package for a palm oil mill in Peru.

An engineer of Hofstetter will execute the commissioning, acceptance test and onsite training, which will be completed within one week after delivery.

The HOFGAS- Ready Palma is a complete biogas treatment system for safe and economic handling of methane gas from POME (Palm Oil Mill Effluent) processing. The gas is collected and monitored continuously according to the guidelines of UNFCCC. The installation will be equipped with a gas utili-sation connection for the purpose of energy recovery. A controlled combustion with concealed flame is guaranteed by the HOFGAS- Efficiency high temperature flare.
