31/12/2010 (Dow Jones), Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia's palm oil exports in December fell 15% from a month earlier to 1.29 million metric tons, cargo surveyor Intertek Agri Services said Friday.

The figure is close to market expectations of shipments around 1.25 million to 1.30 million tons.

Intertek estimated exports at 1.51 million tons in November.

Another surveyor, SGS (Malaysia) Bhd., Thursday estimated exports for the period at 1.26 million tons, down 20%.
