03/05/2011 (The Star) - The FBM KLCI ended the morning trade lower by 3.62 points, or 0.24% at 1,531.33 on Tuesday.

Turnover was 518.8 million shares done valued at RM496.37 million. There were 191 gainers, 445 losers and 265 stocks unchanged.

Meanwhile, regional peers were mixed with Shanghai SE Composite up 0.18% to 2,916.84, Kopsi shed 1.5% to 2,195.61 and Singapore's STI down 0.73% to 3,156.58

The ringgit against the US dollar was quoted at 2.9706 against its previous close at 2.9630

Crude oil was down at US$113.02, from its previous close of US$112.55. Palm oil futures on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange was up RM22 at RM3292 per tonne.
