29/10/2008 (The Post), Lahore - Chairman task force for essential commodities, S.A Hameed has said that ghee mills owners should reduce the price of ghee as the price of palm oil has dropped in the international market.

In a statement issued here Tuesday, he said that a meeting with the owners of ghee mills has been called on October 30 in this regard. "In the world market, the price of palm oil has dropped from $ 1500 to $ 500 per ton, and palm oil comprises 70 percent of the ghee content in our country, thus its price here should be reduced accordingly to facilitate consumers," he added.
