14/8/06 (The Edge News)  -  CB Industrial Product Holding Bhd (CBIP) subsidiary, Modipalm Engineering Sdn Bhd, has been awarded two contracts totalling RM70.4 million from Felda Palm Industries Sdn Bhd.

In a statement yesterday, CBIP said the first contract worth RM31.99 million was for works at the Jerangau palm oil plant in Ajil,Terengganu.

The second contract of RM38.37 million is for similar works at the awit Jengka 21 palm oil plant in Pahang. CBIP said the two letters of acceptance were dated Aug 9.

Modipalm designs and builds modern palm oil mills, which are said to be able to reduce fuel and manpower costs by up to 20% and 50%, respectively.
