Johor Plantations’ 9M25 Net Profit Soars 45.5% To RM256.4 Million
19/11/2025 (Business Today) - Johor Plantations Group Bhd (JPG) delivered a standout set of results for the nine months ended Sept 30, 2025 (9M25), with net profit surging 45.5% year-on-year to RM256.4 million, powered by higher sales volumes and firmer crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel (PK) prices.
In 9M25, group revenue expanded 16.5% to RM1.23 billion, reflecting steady improvements across all business segments.
The strong momentum was also evident in the third quarter (3Q25), where the company posted a 22.8% rise in revenue to RM496.2 million and a 38.5% jump in net profit to RM105.8 million, underpinned by robust market demand and disciplined cost management.
The quarter’s performance was largely driven by stronger upstream contributions, with CPO revenue climbing 20.8% to RM410 million on the back of higher prices and volumes, while PK revenue surged 36% to RM83.5 million, supported by firm demand and increased sales tonnage.
JPG also reported a 12.2% increase in fresh fruit bunch processing volume, supported by higher outside crop purchases (OCP) and improved internal yields. The continued rise in OCP supply underscores the group’s strengthening partnerships with MSPO- and RSPO-certified smallholders, in line with its long-term goal of achieving a balanced 50:50 internal-external crop sourcing model to enhance supply chain resilience.
Managing Director Mohd Faris Adli Shukery said the latest results reaffirm JPG’s solid fundamentals and the progress of its long-term strategy, noting that development of the Integrated Sustainable Palm Oil Complex in Sedili remains on track.
“Stronger external crop contributions helped offset the slight dip in our first nine-month production. With improving yields, firm demand, and continued optimisation, we remain confident of delivering a stronger 2025,” he added.
In tandem with its sustained performance, JPG’s board declared a single-tier interim dividend of 1.75 sen per share, the sixth consecutive quarterly payout since the group’s July 2024 listing, bringing total dividends declared to 9.25 sen.
