16/5/06 KUALA LUMPUR (The Star)  -  Golden Hope Plantations Bhd has received approval to acquire an additional 50,000ha of oil palm plantation in Indonesia over the next five years, said group chief executive officer Datuk Sabri Ahmad.

The group is reported to be investing RM300mil to double its oil palm estate acreage in Indonesia over the next five years.

Golden Hope is targeting a total acreage of 150,000ha in Indonesia over the next decade but has no plan to expand its operations locally.
