However, the refined, bleached and deodorised palm oil commonly found in processed foods is a far cry from its nutritious counterpart, raising concerns about its impact on overall health.

Palm Oil: Bad Side

Palm oil's high saturated fat content, approximately 50%, raises concerns about heart health. Overconsumption, particularly in processed and fried foods can increase LDL cholesterol and disease risk.
