Guthrie Sees Rising CPO Output From Its Indon Co

KUALA LUMPUR, June 27 (Bernama) -- Plantation-based Kumpulan Guthrie Bhdhopes to produce 600,000 tonnes of palm oil annually from its Indonesianplantations in the next three years, said chairman Tan Sri Mohd GhazaliChe Mat.

The oil palm in its Indonesian plantations are between three and fiveyears old and the yield should improve in the next two to three years, hetold reporters after the company's annual general meeting here Wednesday.

He said the company will look into the opportunity to acquire moreplantations if these could add value to the total income of the group.
