26 Mar 2019 (The Star Online) KUALA LUMPUR: The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets .on Tuesday March 26
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures fell to their lowest in three days on Monday, tracking weaker related edible oils.
* U.S. wheat futures gained on Monday, lifted by short-covering and technical buying, as well as concerns about North American production as weather in the Midwest threatened to delay planting.
* Oil prices were mixed on Monday, as concerns about a slowdown in global economic growth lingered, offset by the prospect of tighter U.S. crude supply.
MARKET NEWS
* Benchmark U.S. Treasury debt yields fell to their lowest since late 2017 on Monday and a gauge of world stocks dropped for a second straight session on persistent concerns over global economic growth.
