FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures rose more than 2 percent on Thursday as traders moved to cover short positions.
* U.S. soybean futures turned higher on Wednesday on optimism that Washington and Beijing will make progress at the upcoming G20 leaders summit toward resolving the trade dispute that has disrupted American exports of the oilseed.
* Oil prices fell on Friday, weighed down by concerns that producers are churning out more oil than the world needs amid a bleak economic outlook.
