KUALA LUMPUR, July 13 (Bernama) -- Palmco Oil Mill Sdn Bhd was appointedas the new president of the Malayan Edible Oil Manufacturers' Association(MEOMA) at its 42th Annual General Meeting here, Saturday.Three vice presidents were also appointed namely Felda Kernel Products SdnBhd, Lam Soon (M) Bhd and Jin Lee (Oil Mills) Sdn Bhd.

Meanwhile, 11 committee members were elected including Syarikat Wahi &Sons Sdn Bhd, FFM Bhd, Aik Hong Oil Mill Sdn Bhd, Federation Oil FactorySdn Bhd, Keck Seng (M) Bhd, Nam Heng Oil Mill Co Sdn Bhd and Kwantas OilSdn Bhd.

As at Dec 31, 2001, MEOMA's membership stood at 79 of which 51 areordinary members and 28 associate members.
