Palm oil/Vegoils: Market factors to watch Tuesday Mar 27
27.03.2018 (The Star Online) - KUALA LUMPUR: The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets on Tuesday March 27.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures rebounded from losses earlier in the day to rise on Monday evening, lifted by improving export data and technical buying.
* U.S. grain and soybean futures touched one-week highs on Monday as fears eased that a trade war with China will take a bite out of crop exports.
* Crude oil futures slipped on Monday as investors cashed in some profits from last week's rally but concerns about Saudi-Iran tensions kept losses in check.
MARKET NEWS
* Asian share markets rallied on Tuesday as reports of behind-the-scenes talks between the United States and China rekindled hopes a damaging trade war could be averted, in turn sapping the strength of the dollar and yen.
