Ukr Agro Consult (20/03/2018) - A new crushing plant is scheduled to be launched in East Kazakhstan region in May 2018, reports Atameken Business Channel.

Productive capacity of the oilseed crusher of LLC Tag-Tin, a subsidiary of LLC VostokAgroHolding, will exceed 50 KMT of oilseeds a year. Modern equipment will allow it to rapidly switch from sunseed to rapeseed. The investment project cost is estimated at almost KZT 1 Bl.

According to LLC VostokAgroHolding CEO Yerzhan Nurbayev, the plant will be 50% loaded with feedstock of own production and the other 50% will be purchased from farmers.

Rape oil sales will be aimed at foreign buyers, primarily China.

As a reminder, one rapeseed crushing plant currently operates in Kazakhstan (Almaty region).
