Mustard, soyabean oil rise on buying by millers
Business Standard (31/01/2018) - Prices of mustard and soyabean oils firmed up by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on fresh buying by vanaspati millers.
Castor oil in the non-edible section, also finished higher on increased offtake by consuming industries.
Marketmen said fresh buying by vanaspati millers mainly led to rise in mustard and soyabean oil prices.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) oil rose by Rs 50 to Rs 7,950 per quintal.
Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils also recovered by Rs 50 each to Rs 7,650 and Rs 7,250 per quintal respectively.
In the non-edible segment, castor oil traded higher by Rs 100 to Rs 8,200-8,300 per quintal.

Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) Rs 9,200, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) Rs 1,675-1,775, Mustard expeller (Dadri) Rs 7,950, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,300-1,345, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,350-1,450, Sesame Mill delivery Rs 8,700, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) Rs 7,650, Soybean Degum (Kandla) Rs 7,250, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) Rs 5,200, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) Rs 6,800, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,300, Palmolein (Kandla) Rs 6,350 and Coconut (per tin) Rs 3,000-3,050.
