FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures edged down on Friday, tracking weaker soyoil prices while softer local demand and worries about rising production also weighed on sentiment.
* U.S. soybean futures fell by more than 1 percent on Friday, giving up all of Thursday's rally and more, as Brazil's currency fell, making Brazilian soy more competitive on the global market, analysts said.
* Oil prices rose on Friday, with U.S. crude touching a two-year high, strengthening after U.S.rig data suggested drilling in the United States would throttle back.
MARKET NEWS
* World stock markets advanced for a seventh straight session and the dollar strengthened on Friday, buoyed by a round of U.S. economic data highlighted by the monthly payrolls report.
