FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures reversed gains on Tuesday after hitting a five-week high, with sentiment dented by weakness in the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) soyoil and expectations of slower export growth.
U.S. soybean futures eased on Tuesday after a U.S. government report showed that farmers had increased their pace of harvesting what is expected to be a massive crop after a slow start, analysts said.
* Brent oil rose 1 percent on Tuesday after top exporter Saudi Arabia said it was determined to end a supply glut, while prices also drew support from forecasts of a further drop in U.S. crude inventories as well as nervousness over tensions in Iraqi Kurdistan.
MARKET NEWS
* Asian shares trod water in early trade on Wednesday, while U.S. Treasury yields and the dollar got a lift following a report Republican senators were leaning towards John Taylor to be the next Federal Reserve chief.
