06/06/2017 (India.com) - Palmolein oil prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today due to mild demand from retailers.

Castor oil, in the non-edible section, also edged up on fresh enquiries from consuming industries.

Traders attributed the rise in palmolein oil prices to some demand from retailers.

In the national capital, palmolein (RBD) and palmolein (Kandla) oils were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,600 and Rs 5,650 per quintal, respectively.

In the non-edible section, castor oil also went up by Rs 50 to Rs 9,150-9,250 per quintal.

Following are today’s quotations (in Rs per quintal): Oilseeds: Mustard seed Rs 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut seed Rs 2,150-2,900. Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) Rs 800-1,000.

Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) Rs 9,700, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) Rs 1,800-1,900, Mustard expeller (Dadri) Rs 7,900, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,250-1,295, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,300-1,400, Sesame Mill delivery Rs 8,100, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) Rs 6,400, Soybean Degum (Kandla) Rs 6,000, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) Rs 4,700, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) Rs 6,500, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 5,600, Palmolein (Kandla) Rs 5,650 and Coconut (per tin) Rs 2,050-2,100.

Non-edible oils: Linseed Rs 9,100, Castor Rs 9,150-9,250, Neem Rs 5,350-5,450.
