10/02/2017 (Hindu Business Line) -  Edible oils market ruled steady on slack demand amid weak overseas reports. On the BCE, soya oil, sunflower and rapeseed oil gained by ₹5 per 10 kg each, while groundnut and cotton oil ruled steady.

As stockists preferred to fulfil old commitments tracking weak sentiments, the volume remained thin. Liberty traded palmolein at ₹642, super palmolein ₹663 and soyabean refined oil ₹710.

Ruchi’srates: soyabean refined oil ₹697, sunflower oil ₹707.50. Allana quoted palmolein at ₹645, soya refined oil ₹710, sunflower refined oil ₹712. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin declined to ₹1,470 (1,490) and loose (10 kg) dropped to ₹925 (950).
